Hi everyone, I spent some time last night working out a flow chart for how authentication could work for a joomlasl powered website. I modelled it after several exisiting systems. This flowchart will allow for the user to register with your joomla website, so it can access webservices offered by your components without requiring the user to ever visit the website, other than to confirm their account if they had initally signed up for your web earlier.
New users will just have to click the terminal, and supply and email address. Check their email, and read a special code, then type the code back into the joomlasl terminal. Voila! They will then beable to access any of your webservices
Check it out
( and please let me know what you think!)
